About NVHC
Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation (NVHC) originated twenty-five years ago with the first Sabbath service of the congregation held at Lake Anne Center in Reston, VA. Subsequently, the congregation began sharing space with Christian congregations in the area until its first building was completed in 1981. Located on three acres at 1441 Wiehle Avenue, Reston, VA, the original building consists of a chapel, nine classrooms on the ground level, four classrooms on the basement level, a library/conference room, four administrative offices and a kitchen. An addition to this building was completed in 1989. The addition is immediately adjacent and connected to the original building, and consists of an expanded chapel, a social hall and a large second kitchen. The temple, constructed of wood with stucco exterior consists of approximately 16,830 square feet and seats approximately 570 people.

NVHC is located on Wiehle Avenue, just south of Baron Cameron Avenue, in Reston, VA, which is 18 miles west of Washington, DC, and 5 miles east of Dulles International Airport. Reston has a population of approximately 57,000, with the surrounding Fairfax County area having a population of approximately 818,500. Reston is also conveniently located to nearby Loudon County, one of the fastest growing of Washington's suburbs.

The Rabbi at NVHC is Rosalind Gold. Her education background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1972 from the University of California at Los Angeles, and a Masters of Arts degree in 1975 in Hebrew Letters from the Hebrew Union College, New York Campus. From 1978 to 1981, she served as Assistant Rabbi of Temple B'rith Kodesh in Rochester, New York. She became associated with Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation in 1981 and has served as Rabbi since that date.

Please join us for Shabbat services, every Friday night at 8:00 pm, and Saturdays at 10:30 am.

Welcome To My Home Page
This would also be a great place to include any new information or changes that you have made to your site recently. It is important to regularly change the content on your site and make updates to the information that you display. Doing this will help you to get more return visits from your visitors.

Notifying Visitors of Site Enhancements
Another idea for my home page’s text is notifying visitors about the enhancements I put on my site. For example, I want visitors to sign my guestbook or fill out my survey Form E-mailer to answer questions about my site, my business, or my site’s topic.

Getting Rich Quick—From My Site!
I might not want a large amount of text on my home page if I want to guide visitors toward my other pages. Instead of text, I can add others’ buttons to this first page, and I’ll be rewarded for people who click on the buttons. For example, if a visitor signs up for a Visa using the NextCard button on my site, I earn at least !
